Who operates Pingora?
Pingora is operated by Salah Gharabli in Norway. For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, contact hello@pingora.online. This notice covers the Pingora Pickup iPhone app and its App Clip. The marketing website has a separate privacy and cookie notice.
Order information
The app uses the secure order link provided by a participating venue to retrieve the order reference, venue name and pickup status. The service records operational events such as opening an order page and confirming that an alert has been seen. You do not need to create a customer account or provide a name, telephone number or email address to follow an order. Do not put sensitive information into order references or share your private order link.
Optional notifications
If you enable notifications, the app sends an Apple Push Notification service device token, your selected language and the order reference to our server. The token identifies this app installation for notification delivery. It is associated with the order so we can send a ready alert through Apple. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. Notification delivery and sound depend on permission, connectivity and iPhone settings.
Storage and retention
The selected language and last order link are stored locally in this app so you can return to your order. A new link replaces the previous local link. Active notification registrations expire after at most eight hours from registration and never extend beyond the order’s first 24 hours; expired or completed-order registrations are removed by the delivery worker. Active database order records are cleaned up after seven days. Restricted operational backups may retain copies beyond active-record cleanup. A venue may separately keep its own business records.
Providers and your choices
Our hosting provider processes service requests to operate and secure Pingora. Apple processes notification delivery under its own terms. The native app includes no advertising or analytics SDK and does not request contacts, photos, microphone or location access. You can disable notifications in iPhone settings. Deleting the app or App Clip removes its local storage; server registrations remain subject to the retention described above. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or object where applicable. You may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
